Statutory right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

For goods, the withdrawal period generally begins on the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, receives the goods. If several goods from one order are delivered separately, the period begins when the last item is received.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement:

You may use the model information below, but doing so is not required. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send your withdrawal statement before the withdrawal period expires.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from the contract, we will reimburse the payments received from you, including the cost of any standard delivery option charged by us, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive your withdrawal statement. We generally use the same payment method used for the original transaction unless something else is expressly agreed; no additional fee will be charged for the reimbursement.

For goods, we may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you provide evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first.

You must send back or hand over the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after making your withdrawal statement. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day period expires. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods unless we agree otherwise in a particular case.

You are only responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

If you wish to withdraw, you can send us the following information by email or post:

  • a clear statement that you withdraw from the contract for the specified goods
  • order date and date the goods were received
  • your name and address
  • if sent on paper: signature

Voluntary returns up to 30 days

In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal, we voluntarily offer returns for up to 30 days after receipt. This voluntary policy does not limit your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal.

A voluntary return after the statutory 14-day withdrawal period has expired is only available if the product packaging remains unopened. The item must be unused, undamaged and returned complete with all accessories. The outer shipping package may of course have been opened; what matters is that the actual product packaging has not been opened. Please contact support@coolmypeps.com before a voluntary return so that we can provide the return instructions.

The customer generally bears the cost of a voluntary return. After receipt and inspection, any eligible refund will be made to the original payment method.

Incorrect, damaged or defective goods

If you receive an incorrect or damaged item, or if the goods are defective, contact support@coolmypeps.com. Your statutory rights relating to defects remain unaffected by the withdrawal and voluntary return rules above.

Important: Exercising the statutory right of withdrawal does not require our prior approval.
